Xiaomi Phone No Sound During Calls

 

Description:

You or the other person cannot hear each other during calls.

Possible Causes:

• Dirt in the microphone or speaker.
• Software bugs affecting call audio.

Solution:

1. Clean Microphone and Speaker:

   • Use a soft brush or compressed air to clean the microphone and speaker openings.

2. Test Audio in Safe Mode:

   • Boot into safe mode by holding the Power button > Long press Restart > Boot into Safe Mode. If audio works in safe mode, uninstall third-party apps affecting sound.

3. Enable Noise Cancellation:

   • Go to Settings > Sound & Vibration > Noise Cancellation.

4. Reset App Preferences:

   • Go to Settings > Apps > Reset App Preferences.
