Windows 10 Slow Performance!

Solution:

  1. Clean Up Disk Space:

    • Type Disk Cleanup in the Start Menu search bar and open it.
    • Select the drive (usually C:) and choose files to delete, such as Temporary files and System files.
  2. Disable Startup Programs:

    • Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc.
    • Go to the Startup tab, right-click programs you don’t need at startup, and select Disable.
  3. Update Drivers:

    • Open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start button.
    • Expand each category, right-click any outdated device, and select Update driver.
    • Choose Search automatically to allow Windows to find the latest driver.
  4. Optimize Virtual Memory:

    • Go to Control Panel > System > Advanced System Settings > Performance > Settings.
    • Under the Virtual Memory section, click Change, uncheck Automatically manage paging file size for all drives, and set a custom size.
    • Recommended: Initial size at 1.5x and maximum size at 3x your RAM (e.g., for 8GB RAM, set between 12288-24576 MB).
